Understanding EWI
How does EWI work?
The system begins with the application of an insulation layer, tailored to the property’s needs, to reduce heat loss. A high-strength basecoat is then applied, embedding a mesh layer for reinforcement and crack resistance.
This is followed by another layer of base coat to create a smooth, stable surface. Finally, a decorative finish, of either Silicone Thin Coat Render, Dash or Brick Slips is applied for a weather-resistant, visually appealing exterior.

Installation
The most suitable insulation for your property is securely fixed to the exterior walls.
Base Coat & Reinforcement
A reinforcing mesh is applied over the insulation to provide additional strength and stability to the system.
Base Coat Application
An additional base coat is then applied over the mesh, ensuring a smooth and even surface.
Topcoat Application
A final coat of your chosen texture and colour will be applied, improving thermal performance and enhancing appearance and longevity.
