Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs)
At ecorend, we are committed to transparency and accountability, which is why our products, including MR1 Monocouche One Coat Render, will soon come with comprehensive Environmental Product Declarations.
We are currently developing a range of independently verified Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) for ecorend products. Our first certified EPDs are expected in late 2026.
Each EPD will provide clear, trustworthy insight into the environmental impacts of our products, from raw material extraction through to end-of-life – giving specifiers, architects and contractors the confidence to make informed, sustainable choices.
With an already industry-leading low carbon footprint, we are looking forward to presenting the performance of ecorend systems in the transparent, standardised format of an EPD.
As soon as they are publicly available, we will update this page with links to our independently verified EPDs.
What are EPDs and why do they matter?
An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) is a standardised, third-party verified document that reports a product’s life cycle environmental impacts, including embodied carbon and resource use.
Each EPD provides transparent, comparable data that architects, contractors and procurement teams can rely on to meet sustainability targets and green building standards.
EPDs are increasingly essential in construction procurement and specification because they enable informed material selection and contribute to certifications.

Why ecorend Is The Sustainable Choice
We are committed to minimising our environmental footprint by championing UK-based manufacturing and sustainable distribution practices. More than 90% of our raw materials are sourced within the UK, helping to lower transport emissions while strengthening local supply chains.
By manufacturing our products in the UK, we are able to dramatically reduce the environmental impacts of production. Materials imported from certain regions of the EU can have up to 20 times more embodied carbon just from transport alone – compared to products manufactured and distributed within the UK.
Choosing local doesn’t just support British manufacturing – it’s a direct step toward cutting carbon emissions across the construction supply chain.
Our sustainability focus also extends to our packaging. Both ecorend bags and buckets are waterproof, fully recyclable, and made with up to 30% recycled content, reducing reliance on virgin materials. Unlike plastic‑lined paper bags that often end up in landfill, our packaging supports a circular approach by minimising waste and protecting product integrity throughout storage and transport.
When will your Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) become available?
We are currently in the process of producing our EPDs and the first are planned to be published by Q4 2026.
Will ecorend EPDs be third-party verified?
Yes, all published ecorend EPDs will include independent verification from a trusted third party.
Where can I learn more about ecorend’s sustainability?
