ecorend DR2 One-Coat Dash Receiver Render is a cement-based, through-coloured render designed to provide a reliable and cost-effective background for dry dash aggregate finishes. Developed with application efficiency in mind, DR2 can be applied by hand or suitable spray equipment, making it particularly well suited to larger housing developments and projects where productivity and consistent application are important.
Its one-coat technology allows the required render thickness to be built up as a full-thickness application or in wet-on-wet passes that hydrate together to form one monolithic render coat. Once the material has been levelled and while the surface remains open, the selected dashing aggregate can be thrown or projected directly into the receiver to create a dense, uniform decorative finish.
DR2 provides W2 capillary water absorption, good adhesion and high water vapour permeability, creating a breathable and weather-resistant render background for suitable external masonry substrates. Its through-coloured formulation also helps provide an attractive, low-maintenance finish around areas such as reveals where the receiver may remain visible.
