Does HBR require a primer?
Correct suction control is important to promote even drying, consistent colour and optimum render performance. Primer requirements depend on the substrate – please refer to the Technical Data Sheet for full details.
Can reinforcing mesh be used with HBR?
Yes. Fibre-reinforcing mesh can be embedded within the first fresh pass as an additional crack-control precaution in areas of increased stress, including around windows, doors and other crack-prone locations. The mesh should be fully embedded within the wet render rather than mechanically fixed to the substrate. Please refer to the Technical Data Sheet and/or request a project specification for further details.
