Shaun Thacker Plastering carried out the conversion of this wonderful domestic swimming pool using the ecorend SR15 Thin Coat Render system to achieve a natural, water-resistant finish.

Due to the nature of the project, the client needed a render that was aesthetically pleasing while being extremely water-resistant. The silicone-based SR15 system in Marble White proved the perfect match, with its highly water-resistant and breathable properties – and the ease of application left the render, Mark Snarb, very happy!

ecorend SP15 Silicone Primer is a ready to use, through coloured primer for use prior to the ecorend SR15 Silicone Thin Coat Render topcoat. The product has been developed to be highly vapour permeable and to control the suction of the substrate, thus preventing any substrate grin through, and can be applied by brush, roller or spray.

Why X32 – One Coat Base?

ecorend X32 One Coat Base is a cement-based base coat that has been highly polymer modified in order to offer improved adhesion, W2 waterproofing and is highly breathable. Suitable for use on multiple substrates and utilises our cutting-edge trowel technology, which makes the product easy to apply by hand or by spray and can be used as a scratch base coat, ready to receive a through-coloured render, or as a flat finish ready to receive a thin coat render.
